What an amazing week for Wesport client Kiki Bertens!

After beating Caroline Wozniacki, Maria Sharapova and Caroline Garcia – Wesport client Kiki Bertens faced world number 10 Petra Kvitova in the final of Madrid Open. This was the first final in a Premier Mandatory tournament for Kiki and her biggest moment so far.

Unfortunately, Kvitova in the end proved too tough for Kiki and she won the tight three-setter with 7-6 (8-6) 4-6 6-3.

But another great week for Kiki, the 26-year-old Dutch recently won on the clay in Charleston. With French Open soon coming up she now looks to be one of the contenders. Kiki will with this great result reach her best ranking yet, getting herself into top 15 on WTA!

Wesport and The Sports Corporation signs a partnership

Wesport hockey client and former world champion Dick Axelsson has now made up his mind - next season he will play for the classic Swedish team Färjestad BK.

There have been a big interest from several clubs in signing with Dick as well as it has been a huge media interest. But in the end Dick decided to go back to the club he successfully have played for before.

Färjestad BK is one of the most successful organisations in Swedish hockey during the last 20 years. The signing of Dick was also one of the last signing orchestrated by General Manager and former Stanley Cup winner Håkan Loob.
